Aunque la EMA aún no ha autorizado ningún tratamiento a base de CAR-T, como si ha hecho la FDA con Kymriah de Novartis y Yescarta de Kite Pharma (Gilead) , de dos proyectos de consorcio para la investigación y fabricación a mayor escala de CAR-T en la UE he encontrado referencias: EURE-CART y CARAT.
Molmed lidera el proyecto EURE-CART en el que participan 9 instituciones/empresas de 4 paises:

EURE-CART project’s main object is to conduct a multicentre, first-in-man Phase I/IIa clinical trial to demonstrate the safety and the efficacy of CD44v6 CAR-T cell immunotherapy in acute myeloid leukaemia and multiple myeloma.
EURE-CART project is awarded by the European Commission a 5,903,146 Euro grant partially covering R&D expenses of the project over a 48-month period, within the Horizon 2020 - Research and Innovation Framework Programme, section reserved to the new therapies for chronic diseases (including cancer)

En ambos proyectos participa el Ospedale San Rafaelle.
Por su parte Gilead, propietaria de YESCARTA quiere contruir una fábrica de CAR-T en Amsterdam
